Our mission

To empower our clients and provide them with the tools and support they need to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Our program has been created with the goal of developing complete fitness. This includes building strength and muscle, increasing anaerobic and aerobic capacity, developing power and improving flexibility and mobility. The program has been designed using scientifically backed training principles and is broken up into 12-week training blocks, each with different focus. This enables us to have specific objectives and keep training fun and interesting.   

 

Program structure

Strength

Each periodised 12-week training block contains 3 4-week mesocycles culminating in a 5, 3 or 1RM strength test deepening on the lift and experience of the member. We use a variety of compound and isolation movements, bilateral and unilateral exercises as well as stability and mobility drills to improve movement quality and overall muscle strength and size.

Each session focuses on 2 main lifts (e.g. Squat and bench press) and is supplemented with a variety of full body accessories and core exercises to ensure a balanced workout (e.g. lat pull down, Romanian deadlifts, curls, tricep push down and plank). We utilise different set and rep ranges depending on where we are up to in out training block to ensure we are achieving the full spectrum of training goals; strength, hypertrophy, muscle endurance and reduce risk of injury.

Conditioning

The conditioning aspect of our program is designed to increase anaerobic and aerobic capacity through high intensity interval training (HIIT). HIIT involves short bursts of intense exercise alternated with low intensity recovery periods.

Conditioning exercises include but are not limited to:

  • Battle ropes

  • Sled pushes

  • Skipping

  • Stationary bike

  • Running

  • Jumping

  • Punching

  • Kicking

Don't worry if you’re not comfortable doing one or more of these exercises, we can swap them out for one that suits you.

Class structure

All classes are complete full body training sessions, designed to support strength and fitness progression, quality movement, athletic performance and overall health.

  • Dynamic warm up - 5 mins

  • Strength/power training - 40 mins

  • HIIT - 10 mins

  • Cool down – stretch and release - 5 mins

We have designed the program so you can start at any time throughout the year! It’s go at your own pace – our classes are suitable for all fitness levels! From athletes to busy people looking to get moving again. Exercising can be progressed or regressed depending on your level.
